We have had a really fun week at church and Mignon has had a blast. We had a group of 2 and 3 year olds for the first time and they did the full rotation and did just as good as the other groups. We had VBS in the evenings 6-8:30 and all the kids did well. God's Big Back Yard by Standard publishing appealed to kids of all ages 2 to 15 and was pretty easy for our adults to implement. The theme of service was different from VBS curriculums that we have done in the past. I am really hoping that we can carry the service ideas over into our elementary afterschool program and our youth group this fall.
