Last night the three of us stayed together in a room at the hospital. Zane did not have any wires or tubes, it was the first time that we were able to hold him without having to worry about pulling something tripping over cords.

Even though we had wonderful nurses and great doctors, we are very happy to have Zane with us unencumbered by all the medical paraphernalia. He is eating and sleeping well. We plan on coming home to Junction Friday, Laurie's mom will come Saturday bringing Mignon and we will be a family reunited.

What an angel he is! So happy to see him without tubes, etc. Wow! The power of prayer. We love and miss you both! And can't wait to hear about the reunion with Mignon. Gosh, she is growing so much!!
Hi guys, it's Heather from the NICU. I was so sad that I missed Zane's going home day, but I was so happy that he got to go!! He truly is a miricle baby and I feel very honored to have been a part of his life. Now it Mignon's turn to take care of him :) Please remember to send us pictures evey now and then so we will know how he is doing. Hopefully we will see him at the reunion later this year! Until then, enjoy him! I know that I have. He is truly one of those patients I will never forget.
